Lianne Avila Legislative Ambassador for the California Cancer Group

I have 10 years of experience working and volunteering at non-profits. I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and have worked with a variety of clients. I have worked with children, adults and families on a variety of issues such as, depression, anxiety and reuniting families. I have also worked in the public school systems from K-12 seeing children for a variety of reasons. I have facilitated support groups for children, families/caregivers and patients/survivors of cancer. I have also taught parent education to at risk youth and families and taught a University course, as well.

What to bring? At the end of the meeting please remember to retrieve your remaining marketing material!

if you have a cell phone please in silence mode.

What is provided?
Continental breakfast, coffee, tea, juice, interesting talks, an excellent opportunity to network with people from a wide range

of organizations and disciplines catering to seniors, all free.
