which means we would like the month of June, July, August or September. We would
like to host a round table at Villa Fontana also, but I would like Amberwood Gardens to host
before Villa Fontana. Will you please inform me of the available months, and we can lock in
Amberwood Gardens please.
Also, if you or the Senior Round Table committee would like to use our social hall at Villa Fontana

It was nice talking with you this morning. I have contacted Susan Huff, Executive Director of Saratoga Area Senior Coordinating Council and she was in agreement that holding a meeting at the senior center would definitely work and was happy to have us work together to sponsor a meeting. Since you mentioned that we would have to look at 2012, she was open to dates. I am thinking February or March if that works for the SRT calendar.

Hi Steve,
I would like to make a suggestion for a speaker at the Senior Roundtable.
Recently, I had Janet Berry speak at the San Jose Senior Commission sub-committee meeting. Janet is a Deputy District Attorney in Santa Clara, and she prosecutes Elder Financial Abuse cases.
Her presentation was great. She discussed some of the most common elder abuse scams, ideas on how seniors can protect themselves, and what those working in the senior services field should be looking for and be aware of when assessing whether an individual is a victim of Elder Financial Abuse.
Janet's goal is try and speak to as many groups of possible and start the discussion surrounding Elder Financial Abuse. Please let me know if this might be of interest to the group.
